i just ordered a raptor30 v-2 with 401gyro & servo, i have a jr-652 radio and would need to buy a flight pack (i had a shuttle but it was stolen) would the 652 be ok to learn on until i got the money up for a futaba 9c? i could always put the jr-652 in one of my plane's later, or should i wait and buy the 9c? will the 401 gyro work with the jr? thanks Larry

That radio will work fine, and YES, the 401 will work fine with that radio.

The 652 will be fine. I was using my JR 622 in my Hawk after I started having problems with my Futaba 7UHF, rx I think. From the looks of it, the 652 is much improved over the 622. I had never used the 622 in a heli and wasn't sure if I'd like it, being 3 point curves. But it worked out just fine. I just purchased a 9C, trust me you'll like it! All the radio I'll ever need.

Iv'e been using the 652 for almost a year. I have the X378 too, but i actually prefer the 652.

I couldn't comment on the 652, but I have the 9C, and it is worth not eating lunches for the next 3 months!!!! Keep saving.
