Default FIRST FLIGHT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW,this thing is awesome!!!!! Started up on the first spin!!!! SMOOOOTH !!!!

Thanks everybody for your help, no manual can make up for the advice and real tips here !!!!

How many tanks would you say to break in a TT39, im running 20%nitro and full synthetic ?

I have flown an Eco 8 with a brshless motor before but this just wowed me, plenty of power and

the futaba gyro is flawless, flew in HH and normal, i never had a HH gyro before so that was a real treat.

David

Now for a few more tanks of gas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default RE: FIRST FLIGHT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I generally brek in a .40 class engine with two 8 oz tanks of fuel. first tank near steady running at appx 80% throttle, readjusting the needle each time the engine tone changes. (keep the engine warm the whole run so the cyl sleve is properly expanded) The second tank I spend making adjustments to get the correct top end and idle dialed in.

congrats!

Break in is hard to define. Some would say it takes a few gallons.
