Default Rudder Direction

I just want to make sure that my caliber 30 is set up correctly. When I give right control the tail should move left right? Kyosho has their manual all backwards so this is a precautionary question.

Thanks for the help.

Standing behind the model... you push the stick right you want the nose to swing right and the tail to swing left.

The trailing edge of the tailrotor goes the direction you push the stick. {assuming you didn't put the blades on backwards... (I did that once... and it flew.)}

The tail will move the direction that the leading edge of tail blades are pointing.

I heard that trick about looking at the Trailing Edge of the tail rotor blades for the first time the other day. It's such a neat little trick and works for tail rotors on either side of the boom, rotating in either direction.

No more head scratching trying to work that one out!

It is the leading edge....tail will move the direction the leading edge is pointing.

That is true.

I'm a nose man. If I push the stick left the TE goes left.

It's just the way I find it easiest to remember.
