Radio choices?
What is a good radio to start with under $300.00? I was looking at the RD8000 RD6000 and a couple of Jr's, Did I leave any good ones out?

I like JR products, so the 6102 is good, but why not put another $100 with that and get a 8103. Great radio that you won't outgrow.... at least for many years.

RE: Radio choices?
There are some decent Futaba 6 channel radios under $300...
Basickly in the $250 -$300 range... its a matter of personal preference. Some will pick a JR, others a Futaba and a few will pick Airtronics. (Airtronics suffers from thier reputation back when they didn't put out as good quality as they do now)

RE: Radio choices?
You should consider the 6102 with PCM receiver set up, The 8103 PCM, 811 servos shipped from HeliProz was 515.00 , if that is still beyond your current reach, 6102 will be the best blend of 8103 and 662 models
