Default Xp 6102 or Rd 6 or 8000?

I have to pick between these radios, what do you guys think? Also should I go with FM or PCM? I don't know the difference. Last question: Does the 6102 come in a heli version or is there just one version that is for planes and helis? I went to chiefaircraft.com and they list the Jr radios as either aiplane or heli, but the 6102 just says aircraft...Is this the correct radio?

Pretty sure the 6102 has both airplane AND heli programming. The airplane version has a leaf spring that provides the ratcheting action for throttle. if you can't get the heli version, you might want to remove thte spring. (takes about 3 minutes). i use FM without problems, but the 20$ extra for the PCM is a good investment.

I just purchased a 6102 from heliproz, and yes they do come in 2 designations (heli/plane), the difference just being the no-throttle ratchet as mr. Spiff said and the switch designation and placement.
I went with the PCM.. whats 20 bucks?
