I have a concept 46 vr and I have a slight tail vibration. It isn't serious or anything but it's enough for me to notice. I'm wondering if I should be concerned and if I should be, what should I check first? I'm just learning so I have the training gear on still...not sure if that has anything to do with it. I've got about 1 gallon of nitro through so far. Thanks in advance!

It could be a mulitude of things. Mine was cause by the training gear but they too use to vibrate. I cut them down and problem went away. It could also be main blades out of balance or track, the gyro gain not set up correctly or something slightly bent. If there are any other flyers aroung get them to fly it without the training gear on and this will tell you immediatly if this the problem. Has it alawys done this or has the problem just started?

Tail vibration is often caused by something out of balance in the tail rotor or tail rotor drive mechanism. If your tail rotor blades are balanced, the look for free-play in any of the drive mechanism.
