Default honeybee 2 problem!!!

hi all

i am pretty new to this rc stuff and yesterday i purchased a ESKY HONEYBEE 2. The problem which i am having is that whenever i turn on the transmitter then the helicopter, the light which is supposed to turn from red to green on the mixer doesn't because it stays a steady red!!! could it be a problem with the transmitter cos i have noticed that if i turn it off and leave the helicopter on it flashes red to green and so on. This is really bugging me because i have not even had the rotors turning or anything!!!

Please help!!!

Cheers

Lee

ps could you explain in leymans terms due to the fact that i am stupid!!! ha ha

Have you asked the factory? They would be the fastes answer problaby. If it doesn't swithc like it should, there is a problem. More than likely, its a hook up problem.

I have the honeybee FP. If the throttle isnt at the lowest position, along with the trim as well, the light will remain red like you said. Also, when you turn the TX off, and the light flashes from red to green, that means it isnt getting a TX signal.

Like everyone keeps saying make sure throttle and throttle trim are at the lowest position before plugging in battery. Just got mine for christmas also, what a challenge. I spent several hours on G2 sim before I ever got the copter but I'm still lucky if I can stay in the air for more than 5 seconds. hehe G2 was great for the planes, I soloed after only two flights, but this copter is a whole new ball game. Just got done rebuilding the landing gear and straightening out the main shaft, getting pretty good at taking this thing apart.
Oh well, that is part of the fun!

Yeah, It works now... Still have no idea why it was doing that. I turned the trim and throttle down all the (or so I thought) every time, but it works now... And this little booger is definatly a trick to fly. One little thing is that I never can get the thing to keep from spinning, I will just have to keep messing with settings I suppose.

couple of things i found out about the"keeps spinning prob". If you have the gain full - it will spin. Look close at tail rotor,if the small pins that engage the gear are sheard off, the rotor will spin, although with not much force. Its easy to overlook.
