Default trouble with honeybee sim for mac osx

Hi. I can't get my transmitter to operate with my R/C simulator. I have a mac running osx and im using R/C helicopter simulator 1.5. The transmitter is an eskysz01 model e8. The software just will not recognise the transmitter.
Anyone had this problem??

That link eventually takes you back to the same program that the original poster has, Heli Sim 1.5. My understanding is that it is that, X-Plane (in RC mode), or a Linux / Unix based one that you can build for OS X, but the name escapes me on that last one. I've only used the first one and it seems pretty limited but probably better than nothing.

Take a look here:

http://www.milehighwings.com/usb_cables.htm

I think there is a FAQ that mentions Mac compatability. The Mac needs one that is 'pure' USB - the ones that have serial-USB adapters integrated do not work. I haven't used this one but think it is ok.

Best,
d.
