Kyosho Concept 30 control rod lengths
Hi
I've recently bought a second (or maybe 3rd/ 4th hand) Concept 30 SRT (flapping head). I'm pretty good with model setup and have flown planes for a few years and built a Nexus 30 years ago which I crashed, but anyway since rebuilding this heli and replacing a few worn components and checking it over thorougly I have noticed the control rods for the head assembly are way longer than stated in the Concept manual. The problem is I would adjust them to what the manual states but the threaded rods are physically too long, and looking at it, if I was to shorten the lengths to the manual stated lengths then the rods would not reach the swashplate. Has anyone got the standard measurements for the rotor assembly rods for a Concept 30 SRT (I know this is a pain in the arse but it will help me out ;-)).
I'm thinking it's not going to matter too much anyway cos i've measured each paired rod up and made sure each pair are exactly the same length and that they don't overly strain the ball joints - is this right?
