Default Want Lithium batterys, which config?

Hello, I have a hummingbird v3 with the stock mixer board (max voltage input?). I went to the hobby store and theres a huge selection and i have no clue which one to get. I read up on how to take or the lithium cells. I also heard about 3 cell batteries burning up tail motors and mixer boards?

thanks for the help

I'm use a Thunder Power 2 cell 7.4 volt, 2100mah. I'm getting about 20 minutes of flying, works great.
