Default DVD FOR RC HELICOPTER BEGINNERS

I have been flying planes for around 3 1/2 years now. I wanted to get into helicopters eventually. I am going to buy the Reflex XTR and practice for a couple of years before I actually buy a RC Helicopter.

I wanted to know if there was a DVD for RC Helicopter beginners.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there I am a pre-beginner awaiting my first foray into the rc helicopter arena. Currently awaiting an Airwold electric rc helicopter. After a little research..I have found a Beginner Training DVD at www.chopperview.com. I just ordered it myself. $19.95 + $3.85 S&H US. Good Luck.

I just received mine. It's the closest thing to having an instructor. IMO,it's great.

You could buy the dvd if you want to. Butt Real flight has the same thing as part of the program. It's under Options//flight instructor. I'm sure reflex has the same thing as these flight sims will teach you how to hover, nose in nose out etc etc. Anything that can be done with heli can be learned first on a sim. You won't need a couple of years on sim. My flight instructor did insist that I have at least 90 hours on sim before giving me my first flight lesson with my raptor 30. A very good starter heli.
Good luck and welcome to the world of heli's
