Default New need some help

So i have been doing electric and nitro rc cars for along time now. My cousin just got this SICK hili I mean it is clean upgraded from the second he bought it. Now I want to get one just to mess around with. One thats easy to drive and kind of fast. So any suggestions on brand names? (electric not nitro yet)

Im looking to spend maybe 300 total on the controller and plain
100 on the batteries
and nothing on the charger because I have one

Blade or Honeybee are probably your best bet in terms of quality vs price.

If you don't mind fiddling with stuff, Walkera copters aren't too bad, though they won't come setup and ready to fly from the box like the blade or honeybee will.

well I think a walkera 36 would fit the budget quite nicely It's the best one they have and at a decent price. I'd suggest going to grand rc, getting some TRex blades 2 ABS 1woodie (for later once you get good) (if their too long you can clip them) as they're really cheap, good quality, cheap shipping, and fast shipping. Then you should go get a TRex motor, and I hear the 420LF is a great one. get a 25A speed control, and a 10C MINIMUM li-poly.
costs:
36-$220 (ebay) with free lipoly, training gear, main blades
blades-$34 with s/h included (2 abs, 1 woodie)
tail blades-$2.50 (shipping included (ordering with main blades))
align 420LF+esc- $70+
10C 2200 mAh lipoly- 30+ (on ebay)

total: $ 336.50+ (max at $400)

which is just in your budget. heh if you got all of that you'd do fine. also, buying off ebays not a problem of brands on li-polys just as long as it has a high discharge rate
