Hi
I recently got a sabre helicopter charged it up and the main rotar wouldn't turn no matter what levers I moved, when moving the left controller left and right i could see the parts of the helicopter moving. Brought it back to the shop and they replaced it.
When i brought the new one back i still had the same problem so i switched off the hand controller and left the helicopter on the floor in my house, after about twenty minutes the helicopter went crazy al on its own (even with the hand controller switched off) crashing into walls and destroying the rotars, the only way i could stop it was to unplud the battery and even when i plug the battery back in it goes crazy !
Does anyone have experience of these or can anyone tell me what went wrong ?
Thanks
Sid

The hand controller, the transmitter, should always be on when the battery is plugged in. It was experiencing interference and accepted the signals as movements. Make sure you read through the instruction book thoroughly before operating.

yea you pretty much broke the biggest rule of flying rc helis. You not only left it there with no tx on, but you could have injured others around you. Manual does say this is not a toy and it can cause damage to yourself and others.
First thing you should do is read the manual. If that doesn't help take it back to the place you bought it at. Hopefully it's hobbypeople, because i know EF's are the only electric heli they sell. Ask them nicely to help you out. They should have no problem with that. They even helped me out, even though my heli didn't come from their store, or their company
If both of my suggestions don't work come back and I'll do my best to help you out. I have a df#4 and it's 99.9% same as your ef sabre.

I was hoping you wouldn't say that ! to top it off its not mine I was only doing a favour for someone ! I'm thinking now of buying him a new one and getting that one repaired and keeping it although I still don't know if the main rotar is working properly, when ever I plug back in the helicopter battery the rotars start spinning straight away and I don't know how to stop them. (they spin whether the controller is on or off)
Also am I correct insaying that the heli needs to be in a field away from interference to fly correctly ? maybe thats why the rotar wouldn't spin initially because the interference in the house was too much
Thanks for the advice !
