Default Helicopter Shootout

Hey

Which Heli is good for beginners and intermediate? And which one is can do 3D stuff (loops, invert flying)?

Thunder Tiger Raptor 30 V2 ($700 USD +S&H new)
Kyosho Calibar 5 (unknown...)
Century Hawk Pro ($700 USD +S&H new)
Kyosho Nexus 30 $700 CND (preowned)

Thanks

I my self dont like the Century Hawk Pro ,Kyosho Nexus 30 so i would look at the raptor and the caliber 5, the c5 is 300.0 us funds.and they both will do what you want them.

If you want to fly upside down stay away from the Nexus.

The Raptor is probably your best bet, if you got some money get a 50 V2 instead of a 30, if you have your heart set on 3d you will outgrow the 30, of course you can upgrade but why buy twice?

Have to agree with barracuda. Since money is not an issue, get the Rap50. Same as the 30 but bigger motor.

Go with the raptor 50. Raptors are by far the most common helicopter... This means you will be able to get help easier.

Where in ontario are you? I might be able to help you out if your not too far away.

The Raptor has parts support every where, its a proven design and even has a complete web site dedicated to its setup and upkeep http://www.raptortechnique.com

Its not the "best" but its got plenty of reasons to be the most popular.

Just don't ask him to fly it upside down.
