Please help setting up shogun v1 w/spektrum dx6...
Hi,
I need help please. I have been trying to setup my used shogun with my new spektrum dx6 radio. My main problem is where some of the connections go as far as the receiver is concerned. I thought I had it all figured out but no luck. Right now when I try to increase throtle the heli will not lift off. I seem to need to reverse the collective servo but I don't know how. I tried doing the revese thrust function in my radio and it just went crazy. The engine went full throtle...scared the **** out of me and ruining some parts too: ). Anyway I really would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Is it ccpm?
if it is you must turn on the ccpm function and set your aileron and pitch values the same and the elevator should be the opposite value (+ or -) of the aileron and pitch channel. Make sure your swashplate goes up flat and level as you apply the throttle/collective stick, if it does not, don't attempt to fly, or you'll crash!
The manual that comes with the radio gives a brief explanation on how to do this.
Good luck!
