Default Which start shaft- Freya YS 61

Hi all,

Heli newbie here.....

I have a Freya with a YS 61 that I need a start shaft for. I have a Dynatron starter I would like it to attach too. Chief has a JR universal, but it doesn't appear to have a one way bearing which I understand is important.

Any recommendations would be appreciated. Also, if there is anything special I need to know in order to attach this to my starter, please let me know.

Thanks.

I use this one to start my YS91 on a Predator Max - works great. YOu can use it by just slipping it into the start cone of your starter or you can remove the start cone from the starter and attach it directly to the starters output shaft.

If you are looking for a bearing or unidirectional clutch try it at Kaman - They have sooo much stuff and I was even able to find bearing parts for my very old Kalt there.
