Default Which way is up?

Sorry people, just cant find an answer. I used to fly planes and when I pull back on the elevator, the plane would climb. Is this the same for the heli's too?

I'm trying to set up FMS and I don't know which channels to reverse to set it up properly.

If I'm facing the same way as he heli's nose is pointed, I'm assuming it works the following way:

Left rudder will turn the nose to the left.
throttle up will make the heli climb
left roll will roll the heli to the left
nick up will dive the nose forward giving forward flight

Is this correct, please let me know so I'm not practicing on the sim backwards.

Thanks,

Chris

Default RE: Which way is up?

im new to helis too (i was never even into planes at all either) but i believe its the left stick on the radio and u push it up to climb
down to decend etc
if u turn the left stick left/right im thinkin it will turn left/right (not rudder turning) and the right stick up/down motion is i believe pitch control? not sure but i do know the controls of a real heli tho
and i believe with the right stick if u turn it right/left it will rudder right/left
im in the procces of purchasing a new nitro heli
are these good to start off with?
thanks

Same controls as planes as far as roll, throttle, pitch, and rudder. Left ruder will point nose of heli and plane to left, etc.
