Default help with the cx

I have a blade cx about 2 weeks old. I have yet been able to have a stable hover and from all of my practice and tinkering i have broken a few parts and adjusted a few things. Is there any default settings as far as the servo rods and 4 in 1 go because i have adusted both. Its currently grounded (waiting for parts) so now would be a good time to adjust a few things while it is apart.

Default RE: help with the cx

I am not as familiar with the CX. I have the CP. One thing that made a difference for me is to keep the tail towards you at all times when learning to hover. Second, always make small movements with the sticks. When I hover, I am barely moving the sticks more than 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch at a time. With the CP, you have to put correction back in the opposite way you moved the stick. I don't believe you have to do that with the CX since it is coaxial and somewhat balances itself out. Also, make sure you use the training gear until you can comfortably hover around 4-5 feet and softly set it back down. Once you take the training gear off, it will fly much better as well, but don't do it until you are ready!!
