New to helicopters.
Hello.
I just have a few questions about rc helicopters.
One is I'm just getting into this hobby and wanted to know what a good starter would be. I would like something that would be fairly easy learn on but be able to do more advanced stuff later. Durability would also be an excellent trait. Lastly, it has to be electric. I want to be able to fly it at the park near me. Is there such a helicopter?
Secondly, I have been looking at the cameras that you can mount on the underside of the helicopters. Are these any good? They look like a blast to me. I just wanted to know if there was one that went directly to a computer.
Thanks for your time,
Drew

Hi Drew,
What is your budget like?
Do you have any RC experience?
Do you have any RC Equipment?
A good place to start is the [link=http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=439631]EHBG/Electric Helicopter Beginner's Guide[/link].
Another good link is [link=http://www.dream-models.com/eco/flying-index.html]Radd's School of Rotary Flight[/link]

RE: New to helicopters.
Hi.
Thanks for the replies.
My budget is around $500 (I would prefer it to be lower though ).
I have no rc experience (Oh yeah!).
Ditto for equipment.
I was looking at the Blade CP, but I don't think its tailored towards beginners.
Thanks,
Drew

RE: New to helicopters.
Many people, including myself have learned to fly with the blade cp. If you are patient and have some self control you will be fine. Parts are readily available at most hobby shops. Radds school of rotary flight is very helpfull if you stick to it.
