Default Rotor compatibility question

I have Dynam Hughes 300. FP. 510 mm main rotor diameter. Do I have to purchase the Dynam specified rotor? I doubt that they actually manufacture the rotor in the first place? Can you just match the diameter? Does anyone know what would be compatible? And while on the subject, are we as rc modelers being taken on these rotors? In any other application, it seems that these would likely be a 50 cent part (referring only to the plastic/foam baldes, carbon fiber excluded). Seems to me the mfrs are taking advantage of a market that is well known to be loose in the wallet. Any thoughts are appreciated.

You can use just about any micro heli blades, just make sure they are fixed pitch blades ([link=http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/166073.asp]Fixed Pitch Blades[/link]). I have MS Composit carbon blades on mine.
