Default receiver / servo compatability

Hey I was wondering if I can use my full size pcm futaba receiver with generic 9g micro servos? I pluged them in and they worked fine but I wasn't sure about extended powered uses otherwords if it will burn out the servos after a couple flights.

anyhelp would be appreciated.

Default RE: receiver / servo compatability

They run on 4.8volts so if you aren't using a 6volt bec they should be fine.
