Hi all,
I run a couple of Walkera 36's with Walkera TX & RX etc (I know!) Anyway, got a Walkera 39 which I decided to get a Futaba T6EXHP tx and R136 F receiver.
So I plug it all in, set the TX to PPM and the servos kinda work (can't tell whether they work properly yet but they do move) but when the brushless Walkera motor is run it goes crazy, straight to full volume and the only way to stop it is with your arm on the flybar (it did hurt) or to disconnect the battery.
Please, I am new to this what am I doing wrong?!

I have tried the Idle up toggle switch in both positions and it makes no difference but surely in 3d you still need some control over motor speed, this really just does go to full speed and stays there.
??!

In 3d mode you do NOT control the throtle, just the pitch. One of your switches or one of your servo's is in the wrong spot. If nothing else, take your rotor blades off when you are trying to set up your heli.

Ok, thanks, the blades are off BTW otherwise I would have a hole in the ceiling.
So I'll set the swash plate level, centre all the trims and re attach all the servo arms at 90 deg and see what happens.
I have tried all the toggle switches in all combinations and it does exactly the same regardless of toggle switch positions.
I'll report back, unless someone says stop don't do that!
