Default threadlock

Hi, I did it now. Got tired and stupid, lost a drop of blue threadlock and it fell on my throttle barrel. Tried to clean it up but some seeped inside. There is a bit of binding. Is there something to dissolve it or do I have to take the carb apart?

Acetone should remove it, I would be very careful making sure every bit is out of any moving mechs in the carb. You might want to very carefully disassemble it and try using a soft tooth-brush with the acetone to get it cleaned properly.
I use gloves when using any kind of solvents & read precautions on handling..

Thanks Culverson for the info about the Acetone, it worked good.
I don't think I could tackle taking apart the carb at this time. Way to much going on. Are you supposed to lubricate the throttle barrel ever?

You're glow fuel will lubricate the carb.... But after disassembly, cleaning and reassembly, I use a little marvel mystery oil... Or you can use ATF...
