I'v read hours of posts here, but am still a bit confused. First, I had a heli last year, just could not get the hang of it, so I sold it not being able to do anything but hover. (Raptor 30). Since then I have regretted selling it, and have become quite proficient at flying the sim. Needless to say with tax refunds around the corner I need another heli!!!
Now which one, I know this has been talked blue in the face, but here goes my little list of questions.
For anyone flying the new Raptor 30v2, how is the TT.39? I had a few clutch problems with my Raptor, is that still an issue, (may have come from my lack of knowledge)?
I have also been looking at the Sceadu 30 and the 50. Are these suitable for a "beginner", also do you think the 50 would be too much power to learn on?
I'm open to any other suggestions as well, but so far I have narrowed my decision down to the raptor, or the Secadu.
Thanks for any advice, and hopefully I'll be able to get it down this time!!!

I'm looking for a beginner bird too, and i really like the looks of the quick learner, there's a review of it in the rcu magazine, and you can read the manual online to get an idea of construction.
what i like most is it's all metal, minimal plastic, and the same price.

seems every review on the RCU magazine is good, even if the product is a junk. I'm not referring to what you guys are talking about. But I'm just speaking from what I've experienced.

I would suggest that you take a serious look at the new Century Hawk Sport for only $160.00 and match it to the OS-32SXH.
If you check the various forums for the century heli and those for others you will find the Hawk users have found them to be ideal with no issues of dependability or other things (Flutter, engine cooling etc.) and at a very attractive price.
This heli is problem free, easy to assemble and set up and the engine is proven to be very user friendly (a must for beginners). And the cost of both would be so much less then the R30 with TT39, that it would leave yuou with a lot more money to send on a better radio or a better gyro.
P.S. You can also find a review of it here on RCU and in RunRyder.

Hawk isn't able to do the 3d a raptor can out of the box. Hawk has also had some tail rotor problems and the parts are more expensive than the v2. Go with the raptor v2.
