Well I was slacking last week because of the holiday.
Flying the T is good stuff, the next progression is nose in but I want to break up that with something different this week.
Figure 8s.
As with hovering, good looking figure 8s are easier said than done.
Practice them upright and forwards till you can maintain the same speed, make symetrical circuits and maintain altitude. You also want to make sure you aren't skidding sideways, practice coordinating your rudder to keep the helicopter on heading.
Make sure the cross over point is infront of you.
Stop and switch directions of the 8 every few circuits.

I have started the habit of using some cyclic when turning with my CX2. Is this bad?
I notice that when I am trying to get my turns tighter and increase speed that I loose altitude, is this the nature of the CX2 or will I see the same thing on my blade 400 when I get it?
BTW I am not going too fast, its just that I only have about a 6' by 10' area to fly in. I got bored with the figure eights and started increasing the speed.
