I was lookin' at Futaba controllers on their home page -- the 14 MH cost upwards of $2,000 +++
Can someone please guide me.
I am in the process of buying a phoenix sim. It has a controller adapter i believe and not the actual controller.
So please recommend one -- that i can also use when i buy a trex 450 SE once i am comfortable with the sim.
thanks

I like the Futaba 9CH. With all of the hubbub over 2.4ghz, the used 9C models are more affordable.
Taking a quick look through the [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/market/category.cfm?catID=29]Radio For Sale forum[/link] I saw a 9CH for 210 shipped.
But if you just want a simple transmitter to use for your sim, would any simple 4 channel transmitter with a buddy jack work?

Well if you have 2 grand to blow on a radio the 14m is awesome.
If you want something a little more down to Earth the DX7, 9CHP, and x9303 are all excellent choices depending on your budget. If you are buying new you may as well go ahead and get 2.4 so that would leave the dx7 and x9303 or the newer Futaba 12fg and the 10 channel they have but haven't released yet, or the 7channel FAAST from Futaba if you want a more budget conscious choice. Any of them will do you well and give you room to expand should you desire to move up to nitro helis.

I have both the DX7 and 9CHP and like them both but will probably sell both when the new JR 12X is finally released (april now...).
