Have you ever seen them fly? Take a look at:
http://www.augustoheli.com/videos/vi...ve/default.asp
Download a couple, they're great to watch. They won't teach you much, but if you want to learn, download this:
http://www.n.ethz.ch/student/mmoelle.../fmsdisk01.exe
That way you can practice using the controls. To get help with setting the thing up, you'll have to find someone a bit closer than Yorkshire, England

you are doing the right thing though, coming on here and asking for help. Many people buy one and try and do it all themselves. They usually get nowhere. You are doing alot of research before you buy which is what I like to see. It looks like whatever you end up with, you will do very well with it!

There is a school located in NJ that offers heli training. If you don't want structured training check out your local field. If you ask around I'm sure someone will be glad to help. Try this listing
Kevin Sarmoc
130 meriden rd.
boonton NJ 07005
973-335-9789
E-Mail: [email protected]
He is listed as an instructor at
http://www.kites.org/rc_instructors/instructor.shtml
There are also a couple in NY don't know how far they are from you. Good luck.

Thank you very much. by the way what kind of electric heli should I get first. I have masterd the Vectron BlackHawk. I want one that is going to be easy to keep stabel and hovering. I was thinking about getting the Eco 8 from hobby-lobby.

I would like a person who can fly electric helis and lives near me. If it is possible I would like some advice and training so I know how to fly a electric heli.
