A little play (a very little) isn't a worry unless it's getting worse. The 3003s are pretty basic servos for a helicopter, though they'd probably be fine in a sport plane. It's expensive to go for faster ones, though- the least expensive full-size servos that I've used were JR DS821s at $30 apiece.
If you feel like it's sloppy, or the controls are mushy, then by all means get stronger ones, but otherwise, if it flies ok, then just go have fun.

I just recently purchased the same helicopter (Hawk Pro) and I too was wondering what servos would work best.
Does a helicopter benefit from high torque and metal gear servos or is it more important that they be "fast"? I also see that a lot of people use digital servos, does this have a noticeable benefit?

I have a blade cx 2 and the bottom blade broke so i replaced it and now the 2 blades won't balance because the circle thing doesn't keep it up straight now. Can i fix it or do i need to replace it?
