Hi,
I just bought an RC heli I'm a beginner, only flow using a simulator so far.
It's raining today so I can't fly the heli yet, so I've been charging the batteries, fitting the training gear and checking it works ok.
I checked the CG and it seams way off, it tilts back quite considerably - even with the batter as far forward as the battery holder will allow for.
It's a Esky Honey Bee 4ch model, is this usuall out of the box? Is this going to cause me any problems?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated!
TIA
Phil.

C/G should be level by usingt the main shaft or flybar as a reference point. Yep need to get as close as possible. I just rotate the blades to be in line with the tail boom and with the flybar 90degrees to the boom I pick the machine up by the flybar and I want the landing gear skids to be level with the table top.

Thanks for your replies.
@dooleyje - This is how I checked it as well, it tilts backwards quite a bit!
@Rafael23cc - Yes this was with it on.

You will need to move some thing around such as battery up front. or add weight up forward in the canopy such as a thick washer taped in.

I attached attached the battery to the bottom of the receiver, held in place with an elastic band, seams to be perfect now.
Is it very important that it's correctly balanced and make a big difference when flying it?

Hopefully the weather clears up so I can give it a try, not doing too badly with the simulator so hopefully the real thing isn't too much harder!
Thanks for the advice!
