So im new to the RC heli hobby. I've been reading up and ive narrowed it down to a few choices. If anyone with some expierience could help me decided between which one or point me in another direction id appreciate it. I'm looking to spend up to $350.00 and it would need to be a RTF kit. Thanks in advanced.
I'm looking at the Black Hawk 450se, the Exceed 450se, and the Genesis 450pe.
One more thing... Would one suggest buying from Ka-planes rather than xheli? (or possibly neither?) Ka claims they have fine tuned the heli and added a better gyro to them or somthing along those lines.

Thanks,
Matt

Well, I am 50 years old and just started in this hobby last year. My first helicopter was a Blackhawk 450se that I got from Ka-Planes. It is well built and Mike Jr. test flys each one before shipping them. The people at Ka-Planes are great people to do business with. I also got a Gaui Hurricane 550 from them about 6 months ago. I can not compare the Blackhawk to the others that you mentioned since I don't own either of them. Also, I have never done business with X-Heli either so can't comment on their service.
There is a thread in the ' electric helicopter' section on the Blackhawk 450 if you wish to read about it( although it is now over 100 pages).
You can also search on here for threads about X-Heli as there seem to be alot of them. Most of the comments made by others about them is basically the reason that I chose not to do business with them, but that is just my choice.

My choice was the Eflite line, even had fun with the Pro 2 tho it does have this tweaky tail but did fly for me, but my best CP todate has been the complete package RTF Eflite Blade 400, is with the high freq computer programable transmitter DX6i, does a decent job, it will fly out of the box and is plenty for scale flying, some update abit for agressive 3D, its a winner...even have a PNP version, crashes are nearly unavoidable especially at the start, all replacement parts are resaonable...
Is in you price range at Ultimatehobbies for around $350 shipped, hard to beat....as regular price is around $450...really enjoying mine..<>..
