Default Will I get interfearance with this ?

Can anyone tell me Wether or not I will have any problems if I pass the aerial wire through a thin plastic tube and then through the centre of the skid
its a bit tidier that way the aerial dose not come into contact with the metal
always looked a mess going through the holes in the legs

Your range will probably be lower. Try doing a range check. colapse the TX antenna, and walk away from the heli, engine not running of course, have a frend watch for when the servos stop functioning corectly, then try it again with the antenna in the normal position. if the distance is much less don't fly it that way.

I personaly would not do that, You can just by a mini antenna and put it under your canopy. Not worth risking a heli for looks.

Dunno if you can see from this picture, but I have my ariel run through a plastic tube like in this Pic and have had no trouble whatsoever. Since the pic I've tidied up even further and used a single tube from the skids to the boom - no more floppy dangling wire and no effect on reception.

The one thing I can see that might cause you trouble though is that you're running through your skid whereas my Raptor has eyes actually in the skid for the tube!

hope it helps!

If run through the aluminum skid it will act as a shield. Any portion of the antenna in the skid will not receive a signal. It'll be like cutting a portion of your antenna off.
