How bad is your field this year? Is you Field invested with these blood suckers?
What do you do to prevent from getting bit?

We don't have much problem with ticks or mosquitoes but those little gnats that tend to flock around your face just when you try to practice inverted sure drive you crazy. That's why I like flying in the wind. But, at our hilltop site there isn't much time when it isn't windy...

The adult ticks aren't too bad but there's nothing worse than a SEED TICK!! ACK!! One day my beagle came home from running around in the wods and it looked like he lost got half his right ear shewed up because there was no hair on it... At first I thought there was no hair on it but his ear seemed thick... Upon even CLOSER inspection I found that his WHOLE EAR was covered in HUNDREDS, maybe even THOUSANDS on tiny seed ticks!! THERE WAS NOT ONE SPACE FREE!!! They onlt got onto his right ear... It was unreal! A quick spray of tick repelant and they started dropping like flies.

I was amaized to find out they didn't hurt his ear at all!! UNREAL!!

I just pulled a regular tick of my little dog last night (actually my wife did). He got it at one of our flying fields in nj...poor little guy...

Very sad after I spent all that money on his frontline tick repellant which is supposed to prevent ticks and this tick was only about 2 inches from where I applied that stuff! Go figure.

Ron - maybe apply some frontline to your body like they do for the pets??? Get the stuff labeled for dogs over 150lbs and apply between your shoulder blades and do not bathe for 3 days after application...your results may vary

If I do not take a bath ,I do not think the ticks would even come near me..

The expensive stuff works!!! It may not stop all the ticks but it sure does reduce them A LOT!!!!! I've tried most of the brands and only the expensive stuff works. A VERY noticeable reduction. They don't stop the tick from hitching a ride they stop it from bighting.... Also try taking Garlic pills... It seems ticks bight less if you take garlic. (LOL hope that's not a wives tail).
