Default G2 Sim

Hello,

In using the G2 sim I notice that when I am in regular non engine hold mode that the heli always wants to rotate no matter how I set the gyro. When I go to engine hold I never have a problem. This is leading me to almost always use engine hold once I am hovered. Is this what people do or do I just need to learn to compensate for the rotation?

I also noticed that this rotation did not start until I tried to upgrade from the website, how weird is that?

got the wind up... trims centered.. go to heading hold and it shouldnt drift.. if it does..change the gyro settings back to default if your not in heading hold..the tail WILL drift.

Mkulikow,

A non heading hold or non locking type gyro has more than less become recently outdated. I'd forget about not using the heading hold gyro. I wouldn't use anything other than a HH gyro unless I specifically wanted a rate mode for smooth lift offs.
