Default Silly controller question

I am confused, as far as i can see it there are these controlls on a heli:-

Pitch (up and down)
throtle (up and down)
tail (rotate left or right)
then the two axis of the rotor disk (fly left and right/fly forwards and backwards)

Correct me if i am wrong, but should the two rotor disk servos be controlled by one stick on the controller, but where do i put the other things?

Can someone enlighten me

OOh, i see

Can the mixing of the pitch and the throtle be done in a processor in the helicopter or deos it have to be done in a transmitter with mixing?

These are the pitch and throttle curves that are in the transmitter. Basically, for any given collective stick position, you define how much throttle and pitch are to be applied to the heli.

Check out Dennis's site, look under product information. This is mostly elec. heli, but setup is similar.
