I recall seeing an article a while back that showed how to build you own remote driver using an old glow plug. Does anyone remember where that may have been? Thanks Ron

The Thunder Tiger remote glow adapter, aside from being the best of the several types I've tried, costs around $10.
How much is your time worth to you???
What you're looking for is on Fritz Blackburn's site; sorry, dunno the URL. Do a Google search for "FritztheCat.com", or some variation of that.

The glow plug in the picture is not the one that goes in the engine. You make a mount to it, mine is down by the gear. The should have given you a bracket made of metal that the plug with the wire goes through, and the nut goes on to hold it. I put the other end of that bracket to the bottom engine mount screw. It has to be conected to the outside of the engine so that works the best. The silver end goes on the engines glow plug. Install a good glow plug in the engine, and on top is the tip of the plug sticking up. Slide this wire clip on the top of the plug starting at the opening on the clip by where it connects to the wire. Just slide it half way on the clip, if you slide it to the end, it won't stay. The clip lays across the top of the head of the engine. Let me know if you can't get it and I will take a picture of mine and send it to you tonight.
