I have a raptor 30 with an os32 abc engine I'm not sure of the muffler as I bought the package used. The previous owner said he ran less the 2 gallons of fuel through and I believe him as heli. and engine looked like brand new. I ran 5 gallons of Omega 15% cool power no problem plenty of power hovered around 1/2 stick on transmitter and had good forward flight. On my 5th gallon of fuel I noticed less and less performance out of my heli and i started eating Glow Plugs I"ve tried hanger 9 and os no.8 top of the line plugs or so I think. Anyway I can't get off the ground until half a tank or more of fuel is used. I've also tried throttle and Pitch curve changes with no results. I have also switched to 30% nitro with no results. Removed engine disassembled. noticed no real "TIGHT" spot near top dead center of engine with head off. Should you have one on an abc engine? and found No excessive scoring on piston or sleeve and very little carbon on exhaust side of piston. I would appreciate any help or comments.

tuned the engine properly? Changing weather will require change of needle settings. Especially when very hot this maybe tricky with small engines

I agree! Play with you needle settings. The OS 32 is a good engine. If your burning up glow plugs I would say you are running to lean. Turn your high speed needle out and go from there(just keep playing with it and you will get it working great again). Like Pasman said it is probably the weather.

I would replace all fuel lines.
With Prather fuel line. Great fuel line. Then try again....

ABC engines have a "tight" spot at the top , no power is a good indication your to lean. Burning plugs is a good indication of pre-detonation due to a lean run. How does the engine sound as it's running?? Does it sound like snap crackle pop?

First I want to THANK everyone who has responded to my Power problem . so thanks this much(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).
now back to work guys to answer some earlier posts yes I have checked all of the the fuel lines and no cracks or problems found and I also have an in line fuel filter that is not plugged and have found no contamination in filter or fuel. also I have tried to richen the fuel mixture to the point where the engine starts to sputter and then leaning engine 1 click at a time to try to find some power. the needle valve seems to give the most power around 11/4 to 11/3 turns I have tried many different settings and still can not get any power out of engine. With the head on there is some "tightness" near TDC but I don't know How Much should be there. I can turn the motor over with just the fan Pretty easy. I am wondering if anyone has "burnt up" an OS 32 abc on as little fuel as this engine has through it totaling 7 gallons ?

Try new fuel. Are you sure there is nothing binding causing the engine to work overly hard? Possibly a bad bearing in a main shaft or starter shaft or clutch. When the chopper is sitting at idle does the blades want to turn? If so, then somthing is binding.
