ok I have been flying ( hovering ) 5 times now crashed second flight to to mental issue and wind gust.
I am getting more confident and dealing better with wind. Hopefully by the end of this gallon of fuel I might get rid of the hoola hoop.
My current heli is an ergo 30ss ccpm, os32sx, csm360gyro, and a jr 10sx radio.
I think I got the heli bug bad I just bought my second heli

OOP's, you need to reread my post. My suggestion was if he hovered at 5 inches, (regardless of the amount of tries) with hoola hoop installed the copter cannot be crashed. However, obviously, with already two crashes, he is hovering above that height. Hope this clarifies my statement.

only 1 crash on second flight after I set down aswered cel phone, hung up then went to finish my tank off... that was the first mistake.
Hoola hoop was added after crash was originaly x and wiffle ball thing
yes have been trying to stay at 12inch or less but got a little higher and turned around and like a newbee when you are used to looking at right side of heli tail in and you end up looking at left side nose in and wind helps you get some lift.... perspective was lost and hit sticks wrong way. over corrected one thing got more lift got up about 6ft ended up nose down into the ground. took my bow's to my onlookers picked up pieces watched everyones last flight shared brew's and went home and ordered parts. fixed 3 day later flew following saturday, sunday and tonight. playing on sim whenever can. wont try anything fancy only hovering with new big bird ( I aint stupid) maybe crazy but not stupid. my ergo 30 will still be my main bird till get in to forward and figure eights. when I want 3d and auto's or get decent then the dnhp wil be there. I have a group of 6 guys I fly with most doing nose in , inverted, 3d and autos. one guy has crached 3 times this summer and he has been flying 10 years....
