I am SO pissed right now - well, actually i've been pissed for way more than that!!!!
More like the last 4 bloody months!!!
OK, so here's how it happened...
I ordered a few bits from helihobby, namely the Fixed Pitch Turbine Swashplate for the Mini Dragonfly. I get the order, and all is fine till i take out the swashplate(s/p), and i find it is faulty - the cntr swashball was falling out of the hole in the swashplate. I email helihobby, and get no response for over 2 weeks.
I am then told to post it out to their address, which i did the next day.
This was 4 MONTHS AGO NOW!!!!!
To make things even worse, i send them a 'check up' email to see how things were going along 3 weeks after i send it.....no response.....so another 2 weeks after that, i send another....
I HAVE SINCE SENT THEM AT THE VERY LEAST 6-7 EMAILS/WEBSITE ENQUIRIES AND HAVE STILL HAD NO RESPONSE!!!!
Please get this thread round so everyone can see - I'd like to know if anyone else has suffered from the poor service that helihobby has to offer, and how they went about getting their bits back!!
I'm from Australia, and i'm not royalty, so USD$80 is a lot for me to spend on a part that doesnt work and i havent even been able to use for shyt's sake!!!
LET ALONE LOOK AT THE DAMN THING!!!
Letting that out doesn't help me feel better at all - i wish helihobby would go out of business! - that's right...i'm THAT pissed of right now!
Thanks all

This is the second thread I've seen like this . . . I've had one order from HH, I think I might order from someplace else, just not sure where. I do like HH's selection though. =\

I've placed my 3rd order with them and have had the goods in a week or so (not bad from CA to NJ). I just wish they'd ship when the order comes in instead of 2 or 3 days later.
Usually I place the order cause I need the parts... NOW.
Feel bad ya got rooked on this, i got faith they'll make good on it.

I havent tryed Heli Hobby, prices too high for me.
I usually buy my stuff at Hobby-Lobby.com, its great on shipping prices because if the part(s) that you need is small enough to fit in a 4x4 box then the shipping is only 2.50$ and usually it ships quick, sometimes it will take 1 day for 4. But heres one you shouldnt try to get parts from it !! Raidentech.com takes over 1.2 weeks just to get a little part, and they dont tell you that if its outta stock!.
So try hobby-lobby.com I have purchased over 10 items/parts from there.

I had a similar experience about a year and a half ago. terrible!!!! No idea of the meaning of the word "service"!!!
I finally had to call my credit card company and tell them it had been a fraud charge and it was untill then that they refunded my money.
I only remember how frustrating it was to e-mail so many times with out success, and call with out an answer. Back then, they would only have an answering machine.
Too bad you had to go through the same.
