Hello,
I've just found a very interesting movie of a very special home-built twin rotor helicopter! No tailrotor needed.... This movie was made on InterEx.
This helicopter. built by Wil Snitjer, The Netherlands, is called 'Wisnicopter" (appropriate, don't you think?)
It's an experimental design with opposite rotating rotors, which eliminates the need for a tailrotor. It can do everything a normal helicopter can do!!!!

there has been a little electric helli on the market for a year that has twin main rotors, and they rotate oposite of the others rotation.
the U.S. Army has had a helicopter for years that has no tail rotor. It utilizes twin main rotors and can out clime a f-16 in vertical acceleration. this is not new news.

seeing part of the vid....
it looks as if he has incorporated the main assemblies of two ordinary rc helis into one, sandwitched it is more like it, and it apears that it work quite well.
P.S. if you listen very closley you can hear his wife tell him, "your gona get your self hurt with that thing, why don't you just, arrgggg." LOL i don't think she is very happy with him.
