Hirobo is one of the leaders in RC helicopters. I just think it is bias not to have its own forum.
I would like to know who here flys Hirobo ( Shuttle, Sceadu, Freya, Eagle) and to show support for a forum.

Well we had a separate Hirobo forum but the activity was low and the Admins decided to combine it with the General forum. Miniature Aircraft was also very slow here which surprised me.

Much of the message traffic on the RCU heli forums since it became RCU has been from relative newcomers to helicopters. There are some "old-timers" around, but most of them primarily lurk.
As Raydee said, there used to be separate MA and Hirobo forums, but there wasn't enough message traffic to support either. The admins made a smart move combining everything, IMO.
I'm here almost every day, and there STILL isn't enough Hirobo or X-Cell traffic to justify their own forums. Yes, Hirobo is a dominant player in the model helicopter field. So is Miniature Aircraft (X-Cell). That doesn't mean they automatically deserve a shrine...
BTW, my two helos are an X-Cell 60 and an Hirobo Sceadu Evo.
If you have any questions or comments about Hirobo stuff, just make a post.

Steve explained the reasoning very well. if hirobo talk picks up we can always add it. By keeping things more consolidated it tends to spur on additional replies since members don't have to pop in and out of so many forums.

I'm sure you are aware but there is another forum runryder.com that is very busy. I try and keep up with there and here. It would be nice to see a seperate hirobo forum here. I've got a sceadu evo 50 with a OS hyper in it.

Everytime a post is made in a general forum it is easily lost. There are been times where you would have to bump it up just to get anyone to notice. Helicopters have indeed came a long way and are very popular now. Seems like Helis will always be second to planes just like how it is at the fields.

Hi there! i'm a R/C Heli pilot from Malaysia. I do have Hirobo Sceadu Evo50 and i still fly it nowadays...Well, with the emergeing of Raptor, it seems that most pilots (newcomers and old timers) prefer to fly the Raptor due to many reasons. I do own a Raptor V1 myself which i use is to learn 3D and F3C manuevers. Cheap raptor parts and performance make it shine. anyway, i still like my Sceadu a lot...raptor is just a workhorse for me to build up my skills...

Tek helis probably will always be second to planes. Planes are much cheaper in a comparable size and are easier to fly, until you get into advanced flight. Certainly planes are easier to learn to fly and a lot less maintenance. I have 3 planes and a heli right now, all 3 planes cost just a little more than my heli. I like flying both, but at my club only 3 people fly helis, 1 guy has been hovering for more than a year and the other generally flies at another local clubs field. There are no conflicts in my club about flying helis though, thankfully.
