Default Help - Servo output arm play???

Hey all... I need your expertise - again!

I have a TT Raptor 30v2 (everyone does, I think) - anyway.... It only has 2 gallons of fuel through it (about 20 flights or so). The radio is brand new as well, it went in the rappy, and that was the first and only model the radio system has been in. The servos are Futaba 3001's. On the collective pitch, especially, there seems to be a good bit of lateral play in the output shafts. So much, that at first glance, I thought the servo arm screw was loose, I went to tighten in, but it wasn't loose. There is just that much play in the output shaft. I would estimate the total play travel from one side to the other to be about 1.5 or 2mm. The other servos aren't that bad at all. The elevator servo has the next most play, then the throttle. The aileron has nearly none. The rudder is a digital servo and has absolutely none whatsoever. I thought these were ball bearing supported servos, and maybe they are. Can they be wearing out already!!! Should I try to send them back for replacement while they are still under warranty or is this normal and acceptable?
One other question, will high quality Futaba digital servos be much more durable?? They are expensive, but are they worth it???

Default Help - Servo output arm play???

They are a standard BB servo and they is not much support on the servo shaft, you can add supports to support the servo output shaft. Or you could go with a Futaba 9202 which is a much higher in quality servo.
