What is the difference between carbon and glass blades exactly?

Carbon Very stiff , fiberglass stiff.
Carbon-Very expensive
F/F-not so expensive

Default Carbon vs Glass

The FG blades asorb somewhat, while the CF are more rigid, but if you have any issues the CF will show issues more so than the FG blades because the CF is stiffer it make a very slight increase in response inputs. Some 3Ders use these quite a bit.

But FG blades are the most popular and are cheaper than CF..

CF has woven fibers fabric comes in lots of styles, basically you find three: plain weave, twill weave and unidirectional, there are many more but these 3 are the ones you are most likely to come across giving a diamond pattern looking weave. CF is made for strenght and lightweight but yet more rigid than fiberglass.
I think FF2 said pretty much all this in the time it took me to post..loL
