camera on Blade cp/ pro
I have a CX and was going to sell it but was wondering if it is a good idea (not harmful) to mount a small cammera to a Blade CP/CP Pro for aerial movies. This is what I am talking about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwlJTWKaRgc I am also getting into Nitro RC and wondering what is a better route to use the profits from my heli for. Thanks

really the only thing that will be hard on the heli is the extra weight, which will mostly be hard on the motor, but if you get a setup that isn't too heavy, you should be fine. It also makes the heli less manuverable, so you have less controlability and manuverability.
Also about the nitro's, I do believe there could be a few good setups with it, but when filming you would have to consider the sticky gooey mess that nitro leaves behind. I've seen some good links along the way, unfotunatley though I cannot find any of them.
There has also been some talk lately about the AMA banning arial photography and videography, but I don't really know what that is all about.

Yes, presently the FAA (I believe) has put a halt on all commercial ventures involving RC. On that note, it sounds like you intend to use a camera on a Blade CPP. If you are honestly serious about Aerial Photography (after the ban is lifted) I would never for the life of me recommend a Blade CPP. True AP starts with at LEAST a REX 600, but the guy I know that does it uses one of these: http://www.bergenrc.com/Twin.php.
