Default ESC that doesn't cut power

I would like to know what is a not too expensive ESC that doesn't cut power to motor but decreases power. Hely is not an airplane that can land. If the ESC cut the power the hely crashes.

Thank you.

Time your flights, it's the best way to avoid the auto-cutoff with helicopters.

Short of that, I know the Align ESC's have a throttle slowdown/pulse when it's near cutoff voltage, not sure about others though.

there are also some battery meters out there that make a real loud noise when it is time to land, or have lights on them that tell you when it is time to land, or a simple timer also works well =)

you didn't mention how many cells your heli has and what battery chemistry you're running, but check out ssg scott's battery meter, and li-glow's battery meter products.

The Castle Creations ESCs allow you to configure them to behave just how you want, with only a soft cutoff but no hard cutoff. I agree that that's more appropriate for helicopters.
