Can someone recommend a good reciever battery monitor and a good on line store to get it from. I've seen people crash thier helis and planes because thier battery went dead and I don't want this to happen to me, helis are to expensive. I've seen one called Volt Watch that plugs into your reciever and shows battery strength, do they work good and where can I get them?

yeah, there is one called volt watch and it's about $14 bucks from tower, there is also another version that is called the tower pro battery monitor and that one is available from heli-fever for something like $4 bucks, but it would take longer to get here cuz it ships from HK

There's another one called the GEM 2000 that has a remote light that you install in your choice of places so that you can check your battery while in flight.
There's quite an array of different ones...try www.heliproz.com or www.rcheli.com and do a search for battery monitors.
