I have a jr 631 and it does not have heli mixing on it.

Could i hook the pitch and throttle servos together using a y- connecter? or do i need to get a different radio? -Jeff

You could do that, but you're going to have problems with it. You won't be able to set up independent pitch curves or throttle curves with that kind of setup. Yes, it might actually fly, but you'll find the shortcomings of such a setup will far outweight the cost of a new radio.

Save yourself some headaches and pick up a good computer radio. Look around this website for some good deals.
