Now that the Caliber 30 has been out for awhile now. What problems have people found out about it?
Heard that the swash plate is a problem area as well as a flexable servo tray. What modifications would you suggest?
Thanks
Jim

The servo tray flexability is easily cured. Look in my gallery for pics on how I did it. Others have done it differently with equally good results. The swashplat is no worse than the original Rappy plastic unit and now with the quick and correct units available that problem is fixed. The landing gear is way to narrow so I replaced mine with rappy struts. Other than that its a great ship.

The tail rotor pulley assembly is susceptible to wear. Not only is the pulley prone to wear its key, but the hub that it sits on is of quite soft aluminium, and the pulley can wear the hub. I've just replaced mine (together with all the bearings) and cyano'd the new one as belt and braces.
