Guys,
For those that like to do a little investigating I was wondering if anyone knows the difference between the Airworld MB339 and the GDS Model MB339 (BlueSky Models in Italy?).
Basically, they are exactly the same size with a slightly different wing setup but what confuses me the most is pictures of what appears to be the same MB339 that was on GDS model's stand at Jetpower in Airworld's gallery? (pic below)
Anyone know? Is this some sort of agreement between the 2 companies? Is GDS's their own model from the ground up etc etc or is it a re-worked Airworld kit?? If so, why the 2000EUR price difference?!?!?
Confused,
Mark

Hey Mark,
Thats an easy one, they are exactly the same! HaHaHa.
I met Angelo and Gianluca at Ozzano earlier this year.
The original plug was made by Angelo Minici from BlueSky Models who sold the plug to Airworld.
Gianluca De Marchi just enjoys the flying!
Airworld remade the plugs as they did not like the method used by Angelo. Angelo's model has a 2 piece wing.
According to Angelo his design is much stronger and never had issues with the wings folding in flight.
I hope this helps. I checked their MB339's out well at Ozzano, incredible detail and all under 20Kg.
Regards,
Brian.

Thanks Brian!
I believe AW's kit has a 3 piece wing too?? The kits at JetPower on GDS's stand looked to have 2 piece with with centre section all part of the fuselage?
Rgds,
Mark

..According to Angelo the flames in the back of my hotspot would cause P160 to explode in resolt to harm spectators !
..here is a video some guy uploaded of Angelo trying to convince me and everybody else i shouldnt fly for safety reasons?!
Great guy BUT If his building skills are as good as his turbine knowledge then i would go for the Airworld kit!
Just dont trust people who think they know everything .period

Hey Mark,
Excuse my mistake, I was meant to type in a 2 piece wing, I corrected it.
I attached a photo that Michael took whilst in Ozzano of the wings in their rack.

Brian.
