One thing to keep in mind with the P80 or any JetCat is the turbine bracket is not symmetrical, therefore will sit lower than it should on the motor rails in the fus, it will need packing up by 1/4" each side to get it centered, I perfer to have the tailpipe hanging out a bit at the rear to get the heat away more efficiently, I also perfer not to fix the pipe in position to allow it to move with heat expansion, I would make up a former for the rear and trasfer the pipe dia onto this, then drill holes on this marked circle, join up the holes drilled and you have a perforated former that will support the tailpipe, but allow air to escape, fix the former at the rear and just let the tailpipe slide in it, hope that is clear.
Mike
EDIT: to upload pic, this may give you an idea about the former at the rear I tried to explain above.

RE: The Aermacchi MB339 is here agian
This thread has been dead for a month! What's happening with these airplanes out there? I am considering buying one for my Kingtech K-80 after I get bored with my Boomer Sprint. So I need to hear what it's like! Has anybody flown one or have a video of the new version flying?

If youi look on the modelbau USA Website you can download the instructions. Could you perhaps post some pics of the kit once you unpack it

Zeev,
nice! to see some one posting pics of the build. please continue to post pics, i would like to see how you installed the wing servos. I got one of these in January and never got to build it and sold it about a month ago, last week I bought another one and having it assemble by Alberto from ModelBauUSA. I saw two of these fly at an event 2 weeks ago and liked how they flew to the point I decided to get another one.
thanks for the pics, I know there a lot of us out there that appreciate the build pictures.

I installd the flap servo on two wood cobes that i glue to the cover
I drriled with a long 5 mm drillfrom trhe flap to the place that the pushrod place
it was not so easy to conect the pushrod but with some patience i conect the servo arm
i prommise to add some more picture tomorrow
i installd the wing retract and photo it
here are some pictures of rhe retract+the air system in the center of the wing

Zeev, you are moving along fast!, thanks again for the pics. may i ask what servos did you use on the wing? What turbine are you going to use?. I'm planing on a P80SE I have one in a boomerang sprint and its one hell of a nice engine i could say, start easy, very quiet, and at least on the sprint very economic. I fly 7 to 8 minutes and land with half tank in the Sprint. keep us up to date with the pics when able please.
Thanks!
Plumbs, the kit according to a friend that has owned 3 of the past generations currently have 2 said this one is way lighter than his. and i know the past generations was flying on P70s, Alberto told me he once built one and kept it light and it flew with a P60 so these new lighter ones should be fine with anything from 17 lbs of thrust and up. hope this helps.
Thanks!

Kenrico/Dennis i use hitec5955 titanum gear servos on all the wing
i know its too much but this is what i had on stock from other ARF that past away
I have p80 tihs is the engine that i will use on this baby
the kit have feeling that it is heavy but i am sure that the P80 will be more than enough on it
the MB come with 2.8 liter feul tank i thing it is not enough to fly more than 5-6 minute what do you think?
