yellow aircraft is an american firm period. thats the difference.

Yellow Aircraft International is a 38 minute drive from my home, but their products are NOT made in the USA.... sorry.

nothing to be sorry about, what Isaid is a fact either way you wanna twist it. bvm models aren't made in the US either..., but they are both american firms with quality, now charles might have an asian heritage but what he designs is no inferior to the best out there, sorry!

I'm sorry for your sorrow as well. Your post suggests (to me anyway) that YA's products are American made.... I'm terribly sorry for my sorry *****ed, twisted post earlier. [8D]

lol, you're alright!

Hi,

You know, as much as some of us have jabbed the OP for this thread, it seems to have worked. If this was a preemptive move to stop the owner from making a stink on RCU, then bravo to FEJ. Sometimes bomb squads just detonate the device instead of trying to render it safe, right? We haven't heard from the plane's owner, and there hasn't been any substantiation of how this was FEJ's fault. Maybe they're crazy like a fox.....

This would suggest a conspiracy since two people have independently asserted that they saw one of the stabs part company in the air. The picture of the pivot rod fixing does'nt look very healthy. But yes, this is a curious thread, with lots of opinions. Regarding the pilot, some people just do not like posting. A while ago a new Comp arf Flash lost its stab on the maiden flight at a jet meet here in the UK and the owner was forced into eventually posting despite the fact that he had already contacted the manufacturer. I am sure the very public failure did have some influence on the outcome. I wonder if there will ever be a resolution?? Ron

Ben Franklin said a penny saved is a penny earned. Racism is racism. Ignorance of that sort is why Europeans make fun of U.S. RC jets require flight maintenance just like real jets. 12 flights without maintenance on a full scale f15 would result in a fireball.

I think you have just killed it, probably the best thing but it will still remain unresolved. Ron.

Well said Hans!

Hi together,
As Shaun mentions, buy anything from JMP ( Tom and Susan Cook ) and you instantly realize how high performance stuff is supposed to be !!
Of course, it involves quite some amount of YOUR time and YOUR energy to end up with the final product, but that holds true for all aspects in live when intending to
go away from average !!
Kind regards
Hans

Funny how you can find so many FEJ horror stories in under a minute!
I really never paid that much attention.
They suck!

I saw this one in person and know the pilot. The stab departed and hit the ground a long way from the crash. Defective all the way!!!
